Janet Herman – Janet is a senior level HR Professional with experience managing and executing human resource programs. During her career she has held various manager and director level positions in Human Resources including Director of Human Resources for a Financial Corporation and a Construction company. She has been a Corporate recruiter for professional exempt positions and is familiar with organization position descriptions and their timetable of staffing objectives. She has had responsibility for the setup and design of benefit plans, payroll, staffing and employee relations programs, ensuring compliance with all Federal, and State employment laws. She was responsible for investigating employee relations and compliance issues and communicating to senior management those risk issues re: EEOC, FLSA, and ERISA. She has managed a team of fifteen (spanning two states) to execute all recruiting, compensation, and supervisor/management training development programs. She has had responsibility for Benefit Planning, Payroll and Employee Relations programs and has developed HR Handbook policies and procedures. Most recently she is working with Renaissance Resources and is heading up a major program to staff technical personnel for power plant constructions.
