 Tom has over 25 years of experience with Philip Morris in a wide range of production management, operations, planning and industrial engineering roles. He has been a manufacturing manager, head of industrial engineering, and assistant controller in charge of operations analysis. While on extended assignments overseas, he held director level positions in International Operations in Switzerland and England. During his tenure in England as Managing Director of an equipment manufacturing subsidiary, he increased revenues more than 100% by expanding manufacturing capabilities in 22 countries. Tom has extensive experience with acquisition due diligence and organization reengineering. Joining Renaissance Resources in 1998, Tom has utilized his operating expertise to assist clients in recruiting top-notch executives including Manager, Director and President level position placements.
Tom received his Bachelor of Science Degree (Industrial Engineering and Operations Research), from Virginia Tech. He later earned an MBA from Virginia Commonwealth University. He was the Past President of the Richmond Chapter of the Institute of Industrial Engineers and is currently Treasurer. He successfully completed an Executive Course in International Management while on assignment in Switzerland as Manager of Production Planning and Operations Analysis for PM Europe.
